Milan erotic, provocative and ironic, this is briefly the concept behind the collection of ceramic plates by Vanadio23. The brand founded by Andrea Semeghini combines two great characters of the city, architecture and food, illustrated through explicit scenes of fouls, orgies and sexual disinhibition. It is not a culinary guide that of Vanadio23, the plates of the Milano Souvenir series tell well the idea behind the project, named after the Scandinavian divinity Vanadis (Freia), goddess of beauty, fertility and love.
Each plate is finished with a continuous red line running along the entire edge of the plate, outlining the drawings, in black. Each illustration has a provocative and funny title, which plays with typical elements of the city, such as “SALAME MILANO”, “LE TRE TORRI”, “DUOMO CAMPORELLA” or “VEGETARIANA IN PORTA ROMANA”, this is not the place where you will find an explanation to the double meaning of each of these titles.
Vanadio23’s dishes are available on the online store for €35.
