After catching our attention, and not only, with the singles “Bambi”, “Costellazioni” and “Michelle”, today ESSEHO is ready to present “Aspramente”, his debut album.
Born in 1997, Matteo Montalesi aka ESSEHO is an author and producer from Rome, and in recent years his music has been increasingly successful, making him a member of Bomba Dischi.
“Aspramente” – released today – is an album that encapsulates the style of the Roman artist and its 9 tracks are like slides of his life. ESSEHO’s is an immediate and accurate pop, in which the warm sound of the acoustic guitar creeps in to create a relaxing and enveloping sound.
As well as advising you to let yourself be carried away by his voice, which we are sure will keep you company on these early summer evenings, we at Collater.al have asked ESSEHO, as always, to tell us about himself through a playlist with his points of reference and the music he likes to listen to.
“I offer you my personal playlist, which I called “Please don’t kill my vibe”.
A mix of various genres and sound moods that influence my daily life, as you can see there is a lot of music from overseas, where the various musical influences blend together.
From Mac Miller to Yves Tumor, passing through Brockhampton, where the latter have managed to combine self-production with writing, recreating an ever new vibe, diversifying their genre track after track, creating something unique and recognisable. Of course, there can be no shortage of Italian artists including I Cani, Gemello and Coez.”
Turn up the volume and forget your surroundings.
