“Watch Your Step” is the last work of the two street artists, created by Cathy Gagalis Vega and Clarisse Jeghers. The artists met at the La Cambre School and combined their skills in 2017. Together they created a new mural of 1000m² visible only from the sky in See U, the largest temporary occupation in Belgium.

The creation has been entirely free, self-produced, and is part of a long collaboration between the two collectives, TAVU & LOUVES, which regularly collaborate to carry out artistic interventions within the city.

When everyone talks about change and transition in social, economic, political and ecological terms, the next step, the next decisions and the next few years will be decisive. This is why TAVU & LOUVES artists have chosen to represent the challenges of this period through a new collaboration. The mural “Watch you step” encourages us to reflect on our past in depth in order to make the best decisions for the future.
