We want WNTD Apparel’s Painter Pants too

There are garments that don’t just get worn — they tell a real story and elevate countless looks in the process. That’s the case with the “Art Is War” Painter Pants by WNTD Apparel, an independent brand that has made the fusion of fashion and art a true statement of intent. At first glance, these pants look like they came straight out of an artist’s studio: paint splatters, stylized daisy buttons, a bold and roomy silhouette. Every detail speaks the language of someone unafraid to get their hands dirty in pursuit of creativity.

Behind WNTD Apparel is Blu Boy, the artistic alias of Hassan Secka, a self-taught artist raised in Atlanta and now the soul and driving force of the WNTD project. Born in 2014 as a creative experiment, the brand has over the years become a reference point for those seeking an authentic and unconventional aesthetic. The name itself — WNTD, an acronym for What Not To Do, and also a play on “wanted” — is a manifesto: break the rules, follow your instincts, and turn art into a form of daily resistance.

Blu Boy does it all himself: he designs, produces, communicates, and photographs. There are no creative teams or agencies behind the collections — just the obsession of an artist who decided to turn his sketchbooks into garments. The result is fashion that doesn’t chase trends, but creates them. His pants aren’t just another streetwear item — they’re an extension of his visual imagination, where art becomes a medium for expressing strength, fragility, and memory.
