Acne Studios recently unveiled its latest campaign dedicated to the Swedish brand’s must-have Musubi bag.
Between Stockholm, Los Angeles, New York, London and Milan, a series of campaign images were spotted featuring two completely nude professional dancers accompanied exclusively by Acne’s Musubi.

American photographer Talia Chetrit. shot the campaign. Born in Washington, D.C., in 1982, Chetrit is known globally for her still lifes, nude portraiture, realism and the peculiarity of often including references to the proper elements of photography such as cars, lights, backdrops, etc., in her shots.

“I’ve long admired the work of Talia, because she treats everything in a singular, very personal way. This project was her idea entirely – we just sent her some bags to photograph as she wished”, ha dichiarato Jonny Johansson fondatore di Acne Studios.

The American photographer’s work is polarized around themes such as intimacy, sexuality, and familiarity, and precisely from those concepts dear to Chetrit, the campaign was developed by focusing on the muscular, slender forms of the two lead dancers, chosen for “similarities with the figurative qualities of the bag”.
