On February 21st and 22nd, Lungolinea in Milan will host the first solo exhibition of Alberto Monti—an event that invites visitors into a dynamic space in constant transformation. Schizophrenia and action intertwine «in an artistic ritual charged with obsession,» as the artist himself describes it. Let’s take a closer look.

This exhibition aims to offer spectators an immersive experience into Alberto Monti’s unique creative process. It is not a simple static display but an ever-evolving act, brought to life through a live painting session. The exhibition itself will become a work in progress—an explosion of ceaseless creation.

In this ritual, the boundary between artist and artwork dissolves, giving rise to a profound exploration of obsession and presence. As the exhibition takes shape in real-time, it challenges visitors to witness the creative process firsthand, blurring the lines between the maker and the made.
