American landscapes taken by Luca Tombolini

American landscapes taken by Luca Tombolini

Giulia Pacciardi · 2 years ago · Photography

When we interviewed Luca Tombolini, a young Milanese photographer who shot in large format with the optical bench, we asked him, among other things, something about his future project.
He told us to be uncertain, undecided between the Alps or the challenging and vast American midwest.

A few days ago we discovered that he left for America for one of his long lonely journeys, to capture those primordial landscapes that he loves so much.
Luca’s research for remote and deserts place is fundamental.
An external investigation that leads to an interior one.

His new series, LS X is, like all the others, disarming.
It makes you dream of being alone, immersed and lost in those wonderful and surreal colors.

Family Matter, the strange family of Agnieszka Chabros

Family Matter, the strange family of Agnieszka Chabros

Giulia Pacciardi · 2 years ago · Photography

Every house has its own habits, members and photographers.
For pleasure or trade, everyone, at least in the events that require it, we take our iphones or cameras to capture moments to remember.

Agnieszka Chabros, a photographer from Melbourne, has created a real project about her family.
Family Matter is a collection of photographs that the artist has taken at any time to document the strangeness in the commonplace.
From herself, to her brothers, parents to pets, she pointed out that even in the simplest actions we can hide the improbability.

The bright colours, intense illumination and perspectives take the subjects out of their existing contexts, allowing the viewer to reinterpret simple actions carried out within the domestic walls at will.

Bucato, Sandra Lazzarini simple way take pictures

Bucato, Sandra Lazzarini simple way take pictures

Giulia Pacciardi · 2 years ago · Photography

Sandra Lazzarini is a self-taught photographer who has chosen photography as a means of communicating her emotions.
She doesn’t have a favourite photographer, a style that prefers, she is guided by her sensations and loves all the photographs that amaze her at first glance.

Characteristic of most of her projects are the covered faces of young women.
She doesn’t show them, she hides them and tells their stories with their gestures and small details.

In her series Bucato she photographs herself during a normal day dedicated to laundry.
Shirts, blankets and trousers become an ideal place to hide, the hanging dresses blend with her slim and white body.

A work sincere as her way of photographing the reality that belongs to her.

The Coincidence Project, Denis Cherim perfect timing

The Coincidence Project, Denis Cherim perfect timing

Giulia Pacciardi · 2 years ago · Photography

It was the distant January of this year when I told you about a series of pictures made according to the famous motto “Two is better that one” (this is the article I’m talking about!) and after many months its author, Denis Cherim, is really hitting home again.

This time the magic word is timing, whose concept is expressed and photographed perfectly in his latest series, The Coincidence Project.

Travelling through Europe and simply observing everyday life, he has captured natural moments of perfect synchronism in an instant: from railings that continue on panoramic wheels to trees that complement each other with shadow games, it gives us a sense of beauty towards the ordinary that passes by us every day and that we often ignore.

The following pictures are a glimpse of what you can admire on his Instagram profile.
