Niccolò Ammaniti, one of the most influent Italian authors, reaches television with Il Miracolo, a series produced by Sky and written by Francesca Manieri, Francesca Marciano e Stefano Bises.

It’s the story of the Virgin Mary Sacred statue’s inception that will upset the life of anyone who will stumble on it. The cast is formed by Guido Caprino (1992, 1993, In Treatment and others), Elena Lietti (La pazza gioia, Il rosso e il blu), Lorenza Indovina, Sergio Albelli (Il Giovane Favoloso, La Pazza Gioia) and  Alba Rohrwacher (The Solitude of Prime Numbers, Hungry Hearts, Perfetti Sconosciuti, In Treatment).

The series, directed by Francesco Munzi and Lucio Pellegrini, will be released by the 8th of May in Italy on Sky Atlantic
