Many pizzas and a few charred dishes, this seems to be the specialty of Ukrainian artist Arthur Golyakov. In his opinion, a pizza base is nothing but the new simulacrum of our society. Alongside the randomness of its ingredients, it has transformed into a deafening reality, where everything mixes, and every poetic gesture is assimilated, and meaning literally dissolves in the acid of gastric juice.

An interesting perspective that leads to a truly curious result: a series of seemingly burnt pizzas, but in reality, they are colored with a spray can. A strange effect that – according to Arthur Golyakov – should make us reflect on what we find right under our noses, hidden deeply beneath layers of greasy soot and powdered sugar.
