Aryz, pseudonym of the Spanish street artist Octavi Arrizabalaga, has created a new work for 2019. It is a vivid and brightly coloured mural that pays homage to Japan, in particular the city of Tokyo.

On Instagram the artist explains that:

“Back in the 90’ s my father used to go pretty often to Japan for work. He always came back home with such incredible gifts and food…ever since I was a kid Japan has been on top of my destination list, but I’ve never really found time to visit. 

This has been an amazing opportunity to visit Japan and leave a part of myself in the landscape of Shinagawa”.
