The Sneakers Reimagined by JJJJound for ASICS

After already proving their strong aesthetic synergy, ASICS and JJJJound return to collaborate, unveiling two new models that merge performance and minimalist design. On one side, there’s the GEL-KAYANOâ„¢ 14, a technical silhouette from the late 2000s reimagined in a contemporary key; on the other, the GEL-QUANTUMâ„¢ 360 1 AMP, a model created to celebrate ten years of one of the Japanese brand’s most iconic sneakers.

The GEL-KAYANO™ 14 comes in two colorways that seem to distill JJJJound’s aesthetic: sober, precise, and fuss-free. At first, White/Midnight, combines white mesh, silver overlays, navy details, and vibrant yellow accents. And the second, White/Black/Blue, plays with contrast using white, matte black. All this with pastel blue touches. In both cases, the result is a sneaker designed to move effortlessly between city streets and digital mood boards.

But it’s with the Asics GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 1 AMP that minimalism reaches its peak. Entirely white, with an off-white midsole and tone-on-tone detailing, the shoe lets its visible tech — like the GEL™ cushioning and TRUSSTIC™ system — speak for its identity. An approach that prioritizes form and essence over flashy aesthetics.

The GEL-QUANTUMâ„¢ 360 1 AMP dropped yesterday in a global preview during Paris Fashion Week, on JJJJound.com, while both collaborations will be available worldwide starting July 3 on asics.com and through selected retailers. As always, JJJJound shows how stylistic consistency can turn a sneaker into a cult object.
