Banksy is back. With a post published on his channels, the artist has confirmed authorship of a new mural that appeared in Bayswater, in west London. The artwork depicts two children lying on the ground, wrapped in coats and winter hats, wearing rubber boots. One of them points at the sky, as if following something the viewer cannot see.
The mural was painted on a wall above a row of garages in Queen’s Mews and was first spotted on Monday, immediately drawing attention. In the same hours, an identical image also appeared near Centre Point Tower, in the heart of London: according to several sources it would be by the same Banksy, although for now the artist has officially acknowledged only the Bayswater intervention.

Once again, Banksy plays with dual presence, mystery, and childhood as a theme, leaving it to the urban context and his audience to connect the dots.
