There are those who prefer to get lost in the pages of a novel instead of a film, but there are also those who will always choose a film. There are also those who love literature as much as cinema, but who, when faced with a film adaptation, always bury the fact that “the book is a thousand times better than the film”.

Then, however, there are cases in which the two worlds manage to coexist, just think of the thousands of scenes in which the protagonists flip through, sometimes intensely and sometimes listlessly, pages of manuals and novels.

With the intention of collecting all these frames, in 2017 Galine, a girl who loves books opened the Instagram @books.in.films profile.

From the great classics to the latest Netflix TV series, from Breakfast at Tiffany’s to Call me by your name, from Don Draper lying in his bed to Loki reading locked up in a cell. There’s something for everyone!

We’ve selected some of them, but to find out all of them visit the @books.in.films Instagram profile and in case your favorite movie cost is missing don’t despair, Galine takes all the advice of her over 20 thousand followers.
