A while back I told you about the controversial, iconic and impactful photo shoot by Mark Seliger starring Brad Pitt for Rolling Stone in 1999.
Today, 23 years later, I return to talk about an editorial shoot with Brad Pitt but this time shot by Russian artist, photographer and clinical psychologist, and now living in Munich, Elizaveta Porodina for GQ.
An editorial loaded with what are Elizaveta’s unique, original and seductive characteristics, leading the viewer to reflect on the concept of beauty.Â
Born in ’87 and educated in the humanities, Porodina explores the human psyche through photography by incorporating elements of clear artistic inspiration.Â
One of the most distinctive in Elizaveta Porodina’s work is color.
Vivid and delicate hues call to the viewer’s mind extremely diverse feelings and emotions, provoking at the same time nostalgia, mystery, romance, drama, melancholy.Â
