Burberry unveiled its latest collaboration with Amsterdam-based skate brand Pop Trading Company, the result of which is a capsule collection inspired by skate communities around the world.
What is immediately striking is Burberry’s choice to change the British fashion house’s classic palette-beige and brown-with one that includes various shades of gray, black, and red, designed to pay homage to Tokyo’s peculiar skate scene: motionless by day and bustling by night.
Technical parkas, zippered jackets, cargo pants, silk shirts, oversize T-shirts, hoodies, baseball caps, a blanket, a bucket hat, a pair of leather moccasins, skate boards and many accessories make up the collection.Â
Burberry’s skate capsule collection in collaboration with Pop Trading Company will be available online on both the British fashion house‘s and the Amsterdam-based brand‘s websites starting June 15.
