To support the cultural sector during these difficult economic times, Campari joined the independent organization Brussels Museum to raise funds and support the field of art.
The Belgian headquarters of the famous Italian aperitif, together with the creative agency FamousGrey, has chosen a new generation of painters, selecting five artists and giving them carte blanche.
For over a century, Campari has been stimulating art and creativity. Today, for the first time in thirty years, the Group has opened its doors to five new personalities: Jesse Willems, Bent Van Looy, Marie Rosen, Colin Waeghe and Joelle Dubois.
Following in the footsteps of some of the greatest aesthetes of the last century, these Belgian artists have offered their own interpretation of the brand.
Starring the unmistakable ruby red Bitter bottle, the paintings are distinguished by different strokes and styles, they tell fragmented and enigmatic visions of reality and are wrapped in timeless exotic atmospheres.
The original canvases will be auctioned on November 1st on the online platform Vavato and the profits will be donated to Brussels Museum – a non-profit association that brings together over one hundred museums in the capital. Meanwhile, for a fortnight, the works can be spotted in the streets of Brussels near the most important tram stops.
