Cardboard, a restaurant entirely built in cardboard

Do you know the cartons for packaging, the ones we have all used at least once in our lives for a move or the ones where Amazon sends everything we buy? Well, the NUDES architecture studio has surpassed itself, making Cardboard, or a restaurant built using only binder board.

Now you think that I’m exaggerating and that in reality there are only cardboard stools, and instead no, I’m talking about a place with walls, tables, chairs, counter, lamps made entirely of layers and layers of paperboard.

This material has allowed the architects to shape the space to their liking, creating walls with a wavy silhouette, as opposed to shelves that have well-squared shapes.

The color of the cardboard also gives the sensation of entering a restaurant made of sand, where one can walk barefoot and leave one’s footprints.
