Carhartt WIP and Small Talk Studio are the two brands involved in what is undoubtedly one of the most interesting collaborations of the last period.
A capsule collection composed of nine items marked by the unique and peculiar touch of the New York brand that perfectly overlaps with Carhartt WIP’s traditional workwear.
Made exclusively for brownsfashion.com, the UK’s first multi-brand boutique opened in 1970, the capsule finds its perfect definition in the term “artwear”, coined to describe the overlap between luxury streetwear and art, which precisely defines the philosophy of New York-based Small Talk Studio.
Finding inspiration in one of the strongest and most latent feelings in our lives, nostalgia, the brand’s founder, Nicholas Williams, retrieves his references from old gardening magazines, plant seed packets, grocery items and outdoor guides, spending hours hand-embroidering garments with unique and colorful floral graphics and animal illustrations that have quickly become his signature.
