Jean Baptiste Vendamme is a French illustrator and sculptor who blends caricatured, humorous forms with a soft and surreal style.
After studying at Gobelins, he worked as a 2D and 3D animator and character designer between Europe and Canada, also contributing to the animated feature The Secret of Kells, a French-Belgian-Irish production by Cartoon Saloon released in 2009.

Below, we present some of his work as an illustrator, including a series of animal caricatures created for a campaign by the Calgary Zoo, a few of his reinterpretations of Marvel superheroes, and other delightful gems found while browsing through his portfolio.
