“Design Trends”, Studio Desk imagines the world of the future

Federica Cimorelli

What do you think the world of tomorrow will look like? What does the future have in store for us? We hope that time will help technological development and improve market ethics, but it’s hard to imagine what it will really be like, it could be both fantastic and disastrous at the same time.
Animation studio Studio Desk and strategy consultancy Frog Design have joined forces to imagine what changes lie ahead and have created three animated videos to show us.

The project in question is entitled “Design Trends”, it is a series of three videos that illustrates the trends of the past year, imagines the possible social and technological changes of the future and projects a scenario of what lies ahead.

With a picturesque, imaginative and vibrant style, Studio Desk founders Emily Downe and Kathrin Steinbacher, joined by Martha Halliday, Nicola Jane Francis and Helena Bonastre, have succeeded in creating visionary, lively and expressive animations. Here are the three episodes.
