As we announced a few weeks ago, on Friday 3 December the Diadora x Hasbro collection was launched in Europe (worldwide on 17 December). The Italian brand and the giant manufacturer of board games have worked on a capsule composed of 4 silhouettes that pay homage to as many board games that have been part of the childhood of each of us.
Designer Leo Colacicco was inspired by Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Cluedo and The Merry Surgeon for the collection’s models, but that’s not all.
Leo Colacicco was also the protagonist of a talk held in the SUEDE store in Rome on Friday 3rd, during which he talked about the ideas and elements that inspired the work he did both on the shoes and on the packaging.
We at Collater.al were present at the talk and took part in person with Luca Di Marco – co-founder of Collater.al – who acted as the designer’s wingman together with SUEDE owner Fabrizio Delucia.

Following the event, a few lucky guests were treated to an evening of light-heartedness and, of course, gaming.
Four rooms of the Hoxton Hotel in Rome were transformed into gaming rooms where they could challenge each other in the games featured in the collection.
