Life Is Good, the latest collaboration of Drake and Future

Anna Cardaci · 1 month ago · Music

The two big names in American rap Drake e Future have officially reunited and returned with a new musical collaboration. This is their new single, released yesterday Thursday, January 9 entitled “Life Is Good“. The hip-hop duo joined in a memorable way for the first time in September 2015 with the mixtape “What a Time to Be Alive“, which included songs like “Jumpman” and “Diamonds Dancing“.

Life Is Good was produced by Ambezza (POP STAR by Da Baby), OZ (Sicko Mode by Travis) and D. Hill. The track is composed in two parts, dominated respectively by Drizzy and Future that alternate with the mic to celebrate their life. The two rappers show off what they have conquered with hard work.

Along with the single Life Is Good, the two also released the official film. In the video clip, we find Drake and Future struggling with various jobs they do to pay for the recording studio and pursue the dream of a musical career. There are several guests like 21 Savage and Mike-Will Made It. The track is present on Youtube and Spotify as “Future feat. Drake“, while on other music streaming sites, such as Tidal, both appear as lead artists.

The launch of this new product could anticipate the release of a new album, a bit like it was done in the past with What A Time to Be Alive.

Circles, Mac Miller’s posthumous album is out

Circles, Mac Miller’s posthumous album is out

Giulia Pacciardi · 1 month ago · Music

In early 2020 the family of Mac Miller, the artist who died of an accidental overdose on September 7, 2018, had announced the release of a posthumous album along with the name of the first single, “Good News“.

A few days later the video was released, a tribute to the young artist’s career with images of him working in the studio, but also those of a surreal journey riding a lotus flower.

Today, exactly as already announced, Circles has finally come out.
The album, containing 12 tracks, was born from the collaboration with the producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter Jon Brion, who thanks to the work done together managed to complete the album even without the presence of Miller, despite the intimacy that characterizes all the tracks.

Listen to Circus here and don’t miss the Good News video here.

Eminem surprises all his fans with the unexpected release of Music To Be Murdered By, the eleventh album by the American rapper who pays homage to the homonymous album realized in 1958 by the king of horror movies Alfred Hitchcock.

The release of Music To Be Murdered By was also accompanied by the release of the video of the first single extracted “Darkness“, a track that talks about loneliness and tells the story of a man who shoots people to let off steam. The video clip concludes with a montage of several news bulletins announcing yet another shooting that took place in America.

The goal is precisely to raise public awareness on this issue, in fact, under the video you can find a site specifically created to allow everyone to learn about the subject and which refers to a series of sites of anti-guns associations.

Listen to the album below and watch the video for Darkness!

Vinilica Vol. 46 – Golfers

Vinilica Vol. 46 – Golfers

Giulia Pacciardi · 4 weeks ago · Music

After the 3 singles, Your Game, Good Reason and Drawers, the electronic duo Golfers has just released Atypical, the first album.
In this work, the Irpinia duo has mixed the typical sounds of their music, a journey through genres ranging from math rock to German electronic music, with touches of pop, soul, and rap.
The tracks are often characterized by two very distinct parts, a dualism that returns in the whole record as if there were a Side A and a Side B.
The first part of the record, more focused on traditional writing, leaves a lot of space to the use of the voice, while the second part is more dedicated to electronic sounds.

Listen to the record here and don’t even miss the playlist that the Golfers, on the occasion of the launch of Atypical, did for us with all the songs that inspired them.

We tried to summarize in 15 tracks some of our listening that has influenced the process of writing and producing “Atypical”. Our music suffers from different contaminations not necessarily related to the electronic world, we love artists like Foals, King Krule and Anderson .Paak, without losing reference to the cornerstones of contemporary electronics. Atypical is all this, listen to this playlist to understand what we had in mind during the days spent in the studio.
