Some historical monuments we are still able to appreciate as they were built centuries or millennia ago, others have been overtaken by history and only a few ruins remain, while others have never been finished, not preventing them from becoming national symbols and tourist attractions.
The Dutch duo from the Amsterdam-based Drift Studio tries to imagine the final appearance of some of these great monuments by carrying out a restoration using software and flying drones.

The flight of drones is planned to complete the architectural lines of the missing structures of works such as the Colosseum in Rome or the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The project, which becomes a real artistic performance in the sky, follows the one born in 2017 and called Franchise Freedom, which brought shows and choreographies of lights into the sky .
The reconstruction of monuments is seen by Drift Studio as an artistic manifestation but also as an evolution of architectural design. Indeed, designers and planners can, thanks to this idea, see their works life-size, as if they were renderings projected in the dark.
