A few weeks ago we presented Studio Studio Studio, the new interdisciplinary reality of Edoardo Tresoldi and, on that occasion, we started to talk about the first project “Gharfa“, realized together with Alberonero, Max Magaldi and Matteo Foschi on the occasion of the Diriyah Oasis festival.

Today, after weeks of waiting, the experiential pavilion has finally been revealed.

Gharfa looks like an immense crossable sculpture that reproduces the shapes of local ruins, reaching a height of 26 meters.

The work is the perfect fusion of the skills of the four Italian artists: Tresoldi gives shape to this real fortress that from the outside only lets you glimpse what is inside;

Alberonero with the installation Duna, made of semi-transparent fabric, transports the viewer to discover the work, immersing him in a space where the boundary between visible and invisible blurs.

Then, in the center of Gharfa, there is the green installation by Tresoldi and Matteo Foschi in which the vegetation creates an original and unprecedented contrast with the industrial materials, while the sound story by Max Magaldi brings out every single element.

The pavilion brilliantly combines digital and analog, anthropic and natural, organic and geometric, presenting works that can be experienced individually or as part of a larger whole, but also has the strength to combine four different artistic skills.

Gharfa’s story has been divided into two chapters, “Chapter 1_Light up” that show the soul of the work at night have been revealed.

The second part is called “Chapter 2_Shine through“, which proposes Gharfa view during the day.
