The disarming simplicity of Elisa Puglielli’s illustrations
A simple world, without sharp contours and without superfluous elements, lives again in Elisa Puglielli's minimalist illustrations.
The style of Elisa Puglielli‘s illustrations is the result of years of experimentation and study, first of Industrial Design and then of Design and Visual Communication.
The passion for drawing has been part of the Roman illustrator since she was a child, but only after years, she decided to turn it into a real profession.
Her works are first handmade with paper and pencils, then they are defined and digitally finished. Elisa’s style is characterized by strong and bright colors and especially by the lack of black lines of contour. The subjects are simple, without frills and without disturbing elements that could distract the eye from the main subject. It is an essential style that plays with shapes and colors, creating a final result almost surreal and minimalist.
