We had already talked about her a few years ago on the occasion of the publication of one of her new photographic series, but her art is constantly evolving and we cannot help but tell you about her developments. We are talking about Elizaveta Porodina a Russian artist, photographer and clinical psychologist now living in Munich.
If you wonder why we are so keen to talk to you about her work, just look at her photographs and you will understand. What she does with the camera is so unique, original and mysterious that it becomes seductive and attractive to everyone. Her shots, between fashion and art, are so suggestive, unconventional and experimental that they attract attention, push the viewer to self-analysis and invite him to rethink the usual concept of beauty.
Elizaveta Porodina, probably also thanks to her humanistic studies, succeeds in investigating and analyzing the human condition and psyche through photography. By mixing theoretical preparation and artistic inspiration, the artist generates obscure, symbolic and emotional works of extreme communicative power.
Colour also plays an important and fundamental role in her work, with the choice of bright or subtle tones attributing different feelings and meanings. Her portraits can therefore be simultaneously romantic, nostalgic, mysterious, eccentric, dramatic and melancholic.
Elizaveta Porodina has worked with clients such as Elle, GQ Style, Vogue Germany, Hugo Boss and Louis Vuitton.
