From the Slopes to Après-Ski with Nike and Jacquemus

The encounter between Nike and Jacquemus is a curious one, transforming the functionality of winter sports into an Eighties-tinged visual universe. Simon Porte Jacquemus brings his playful and sensual gaze to snowy slopes and chalets, building an après-ski world where technical design blends with an ultra-fashion vision. A natural dialogue, especially for someone who sees skiing as their favourite winter escape and collects vintage pieces from the ’80s.

The Nike x Jacquemus Après Ski collection is made up of 18 pieces. At the centre are the triple-layer GORE-TEX jackets and pants: clean silhouettes, exclusive details, uncompromising performance. The two-in-one jacket is the symbol of this attitude: an outer waterproof and windproof shell paired with an inner bomber padded with Primaloft, enriched with a Swoosh on the chest and Jacquemus branding across the shoulders. A second women’s version reinterprets the maison’s sartorial codes, while the matching trousers complete the look in a functional way without betraying the aesthetic of the French maison.

Working with technical materials is a crucial chapter in this collaboration. This also gave rise to the women’s jumpsuit in stretchy, water-repellent fabric, designed for both performance and après ski without distinction, alongside ultra-high-waisted leggings with curved lines and stirrups at the ankles. The lightweight and breathable bralette completes the ensemble with a construction designed to enhance the bust.

For men, there is a long-sleeve top that works both as a technical layer and as a standalone piece, featuring sport-inspired lines and thumbholes. The classic Jacquemus shirt, on the other hand, is reimagined for altitude: water-repellent fabric, chest pocket and a “J” loop on the back.

The collaboration fits into a now well-established path between Nike and Jacquemus, which began in 2022 and has grown through reinterpretations of archive pieces, iconic accessories such as the Le Swoosh bag and collections celebrating Paris, Nike athletes and even the legendary Moon Shoe by Bill Bowerman.
