Geli Klein and the solitary pastel-coloured houses

-
Giulia Guido

We often repeat that to break through, sometimes, just a small and simple idea, perhaps born from our passions. The lighting of Geli Klein, a photographer from Cologne, Germany, follows her love for the facades of buildings and houses.

After having photographed them, Geli moves on to the post-production phase, during which she isolates each individual building and creates a background that matches the colors of the architecture.

These are shots that contain minimalism and an atmosphere reminiscent of that of Wes Anderson’s cinema.

In our gallery, you can find a selection of her works.
