Usually, artists use their art to communicate and convey their thoughts and moods. Through their creations they speak to the viewer, making them part of their own lives. Geloy Concepcion does exactly the opposite.
The Philippine-born artist who now lives in the United States puts his expressive medium at the complete disposal of the viewer, allowing the latter to express himself through his works. This is how the project “Things you wanted to say but never did” was born and continues on his Instagram profile.

The project began precisely when Geloy Concepcion moved to the United States and found over 500 analog photos. That’s when he decided to give them a second chance, turning them into the frame for the thoughts, hidden fears, and unspoken things of his followers.
Going to Geloy’s Instagram profile, one finds a link to a page where the artist asks you to anonymously share one thing you wanted to say but never did.
Then, once the phrase is received, the artist matches it with the image he or she thinks will best marry, making sure to delete the faces. In this way, the phrase of one becomes everyone, a thought in which everyone can find themselves and automatically feel less alone.
You will discover that you are not the only one to be afraid of the future, to feel useless or distressed at times, to miss a person or to be angry.
