The ability to synthesize should not be underestimated. Especially if it’s about to be able to do it visually. Do you know that universal rule that says less is more? Ok, that is all there is to it.

Ina Jang is a photographer of South Korean origin, now based in Brooklyn, who has this great ability. Her photographic works are realized through the use of a very small number of elements: a leaf bush, cloudy glass, a rice bowl.
With these few objects in front of the shot, Ina is able to build an image filled with a soft energy, thanks to the colors and some trick of manipulation made with pen and paper.

Everything seems so still and isolated from the rest of the world in her shots, until it seemed, at first glance, that everything is two-dimensional, that everything is a painting rather than the result of a shot.

Her knowledge about how to play with the size making us doubt the reality of the subjects she immortalized, is her hallmark. But if you want to test their live existence it will not be hard to find her work in some exhibition or international photography festival.
