Tom Deslongchamp is one of those artists like Broke Davis, able to tell in any way, by adopting any type of visual and stylistic register according to the tone or meaning of his work.

This probably comes from a keen observation of attitudes, neuroses, tics and human emotion, and immediately after the innate ability to translate them, from the realistic portrait to an insane gif. Because to know how to make a good caricature, you must be an excellent portraitist.

That’s how he creates for the American snacks company Buck Wild, a series of funny and mindless gif, with protagonist anthropomorphic nachos and popcorn. Everything plays on the paradox of funny and bullies human behavior, re-imagined on chips.
