“Houses are built to live in, and not to look on” Sir Francis Bacon once said, and I think there is no better phrase to describe the moment we are going through. The house, the first place of passage between appointments, between work and leisure, has now become our whole world. Now the house is also an office, a gym and spa, a bar and restaurant, a library and a cinema.
The thousand souls of our homes have been captured by the illustrator Ale Giorgini, who every day on his Instagram profile presents a different aspect of them and, since we can’t leave the house, the latter becomes just the outline of all his illustrations, an outline that can’t be surpassed if you don’t put your nose out of the window.
We have selected some of them, but to discover them all go to Ale Giorgini’s Instagram profile and if you want to buy one go to his website. If you are interested in having an original work by Ale Giorgini and, at the same time, help the Lombardy region to deal with the health emergency, you can go to 32auctions and make your offer!
