Elisa Macellari is an Italian-Tahilandese illustrator based in Milan, of whom we had the pleasure of speaking here. In 2017, she won the Gold Medal Award for Authors and collaborated with several magazines and publishers. The beauty of her work consists of perfect harmony between colors, expressiveness and an uncontrollable joy of life. Recently, Papaya Salad, her debut graphic novel for BAO Publishing, has been released and it tells the story of her great-uncle Sompong.
We at Collater.al immediately fell in love with her colorful style with an exotic mood that made her a well recognizable artist with a strong personality.
So we asked Elisa to tell herself through five images, you can see the result of this amazing illustrated interview here.
