The protagonist, Tommy, is a boy afflicted by a large number of anxieties that, once he enters a public swimming pool, overwhelming him.
Everything, from the bathers step to the dressing room and even the lifeguard, are stressful for him.

Noises, gestures and words make him so distress that he runs away.
