Currently based in New York, the photographer J Henry Fair uses the art of photography to help the fight for a sustainable world.
With his aerial photographs, which for shapes and colors seem abstract paintings, he trying, through the ambiguous beauty of corrupted landscapes, to open a different dialogue on a complicated issue as environmental pollution.
Industrial scars, in fact, is a project that aims to draw the public’s attention by focusing on beauty, one that affects and remains in the eye of the beholder, stimulating a constructive dialogue based on aesthetics.
Active since 2000 in the production of images to protect the territory, much of his work is contained in the book ‘Industrial Scars: The Hidden Costs Of Consumption‘ which you can find here.
