Photosensitive installations by artist Chris Wood are composed of beautiful geometric shapes placed on white panels and, for a series of cross-references, come to life with streaks of color when they are hit by sunlight. The material used for the realization of these works of art is dichroic glass: its main characteristic is that of being highly photosensitive.
Chromatic harmony and extreme care of the forms, make these works of beautiful objects of design and furniture: for this reason, the artist also realizes versions reproduced in scale.
Her works have appeared in numerous exhibitions in recent years and have been incorporated into almost a dozen exhibitors around the world, for Fendi Fashion House. Her studio will be available to the public on the occasion of the Cambridge Open Studios artistic initiative, in July.
