As we know, museums, theaters and other places have been forced to close in compliance with rules and restrictions provided to contain the contagion. So, in order to allow the theater to reopen, Anna Scalfi Eghenter decided to turn it into a supermarket.

“Interim Measure” is the title of Anna Scalfi Eghenter’s installation that has transformed the Teatro Sociale of Trento into an essential place, that is a supermarket and therefore not subject to closures or special restrictions.

‘Interim Measure’ celebrates the total impossibility of accessing cultural spaces and activating the design of the entire cultural sector, regardless of the guaranteed safe service.

The artist has changed the intended use of the entire place, installing in the parterre intended for visitors entire shelves containing various food products.
However, despite the change of use, the museum has not obtained the right permission to open earlier than planned, but will do so today in line with government regulations. Here are all the photos of Anna Scalfi Eghenter’s creations.
