203.656km/h. It was 1960 when the brand new Fiat Abarth 1000 Pininfarina Record made its debut on the oval track of the Monza Autodrome. Designed specifically to break any existing record, that same year the Monoposto Pininfarina did not disappoint lovers of four wheels, managing to keep an average speed of 203.656km/h on 12 hours. 

This year Abarth is celebrating its 70th anniversary and for the occasion IUTER, a Milanese streetwear brand has created “Record“, a capsule collection created in collaboration with the car manufacturer founded in 1949. 

The collection pays homage both to Abarth’s logo with the famous scorpion, and to its passion for speed and endurance records and does so with 3 T-Shirts, a Crewneck sweatshirt, and 2 Hoodies. 

On the latter and on 2 Tee we find printed with a special raised printing technique the speed reached in 1960, or 203.656km/h, accompanied by the phrase “12 hours of life without thinking about the past and the future”. On the other hand, the Crewneck and Tee single-seaters have the famous record-breaking car printed on the front, while on the back we find the words Abarth accompanied by the car’s technical information. 

The “Record” capsule collection, which also includes two skateboards, the first with a photograph of the Monoposto and the second with Abarth logos, will be available from October 31 in 10 selected Italian stores, from the IUTER Store in Milan and online.
