Jaguar brings 10 young artists to Artissima

Theaters, cinemas, restaurants, bars, museums and clubs reopened. The complex system of art fairs also had to be restarted, and this November begins with the main contemporary art fair in Italy: Artissima

From today, Friday, November 5, to Sunday, November 7, the OVAL Lingotto Fiere in Turin will host the 28th edition of Artissima, transforming itself into a center of artistic contamination where Italian and international galleries will propose some works by the artists they represent.

Never as today, after a long period that has seen large and small galleries close their doors without knowing when to reopen them, art fairs are of vital importance, an unmissable appointment. This atmosphere of mixed happiness and excitement is palpable inside the immense space of OVAL Lingotto Fiere, where insiders and journalists are intent not to miss a single stand.

As always, the offer of Artissima ranges in the world of art offering the classic sections Main Section, Dialogue/Monologue, New Entries, Art Spaces & Editions, but integrating them with the new sections Present Future, Back to the Future and Drawings dedicated respectively to emerging artists, the rediscovery of the great pioneers of art and drawing.

It is here, among installations made of fabric, old objects reconverted into art and signs made of neon lights, that Jaguar gave the opportunity to 10 young and promising artists to exhibit their work.

For the third year in a row, the collaboration between Artissima and Jaguar is renewed with the JaguArt project. During the year, thanks to a Road Show that touched 10 Italian cities, the 10 artists who would bring their work to Artissima following the theme “Sustainable revolution” were selected.

From Milan, Turin, Catania, Rome, Venice, Florence, Genoa, Naples, Bologna and Brescia, the young artists used their artistic medium to underline how art can still be considered a revolution and give rise to unexpected dialogues and new reflections.

Matteo Pizzolante, Luca Arboccò, Francesco Tagliavia, Camilla Gurgone, Boris Contarin, Stefano Giuri, Marco-Augusto Basso, Teresa Gargiulo, Camilla Riscassi, Federica Francesconi  – these are the names selected – have put themselves on the line and thanks to Jaguar have had the opportunity to confront themselves with one of the most important stages of the Italian art scene, Artissima. But their journey does not end in Turin. During the three days of the fair, everyone will be able to vote for their favorite work: on Sunday, November 7, the winner will be announced and will have the opportunity to present a solo exhibition in the spaces of Skyway Mont Blanc, creating the highest gallery in Europe.
