Kamil Lach, on Instagram @zgonowicz, is a Polish illustrator and graphic designer with a simple and linear style. His art, halfway between design and writing, analyzes reality and synthesizes it into essential shapes and lines.
After graduating at the Academy of Arts in Wroclaw, Kamil founded, with a group of friends, the media and design studio Odra. In this reality he works on very different projects, he likes to call himself an interdisciplinary artist and mix illustration, graphics, publishing and photography.
In the private sphere, however, Kamil Lach remains faithful to illustration and manages to identify with a clear and distinct style. By mixing clean and decisive strokes with a reduced and essential color palette, Kamil simplifies reality and highlights its fragility.
His drawings tell his vision of the world and often manifest his state of mind. Kamil plays with shapes, colors, combinations, subtractions, textures and symbols. He takes inspiration from street culture and breaks it down into figures.
