Thanks to LEGO, creativity takes shape directly from the snow on the snowy slopes of Ischgl. In just five days, 11 monumental sculptures inspired by the universe of the world’s most famous bricks were created, some of which reach up to seven meters in height, emerging from the slopes like ephemeral architectures embedded in the Alpine landscape.

The intervention is part of the Shapes in White project, a tradition that each season invites international artists to sculpt snow along the Silvretta Arena, turning the slopes into an integral part of the artistic experience. The works are not confined to an exhibition space, but instead accompany skiers and visitors along the trails, visible to everyone and destined to last only as long as weather conditions allow.

In this edition, the iconic language of LEGO bricks is translated into pristine, monumental volumes, merging pop imagery, sport, and mountain culture. The result is a direct dialogue between play and landscape, where the idea of construction sheds plastic to become a living, temporary, and fragile material.
