Halfway between Street art and Land Art there is Mass, the site-specific installation project by artist Carson Davis Brown, which calls into question our consumption habits.
The targets are the Big Box Store (supermarkets, megastores and superstore), in which the artist, without any authorization, creates installations using products or materials he finds in these stores.
His purpose is to create short visual interruptions that disrupt consumer habits during shopping.

The installations, which are born to have a short life, are then dismantled by the sales staff, but not before the artist transforms them into marketable objects.
In fact, before their destruction, he photographs, develops and frames them using all the shops present in these market giant.
Once the product has been created, without authorization, he sets up a temporary exhibition during which he sells his works.

To date, his exhibitions have had a maximum duration of 30 minutes, which is the time necessary for all photographs to be sold to consumers.
An endless cycle that, however, with Mass is modified from the inside because, contrary to the logic that governs the art market, his works return to generate profit and perform for the consumer in the context they have never abandoned.
