McDonald’s, with the assistance of the communication agency Cossette, thought of a special campaign for “Moving Day” in Canada.
July 1st is not only the national holiday in Canada but also a very special day. Most rentals are coming to an end, so more than 100,000 families are packing up and moving into their new homes.
To celebrate and take advantage of this tradition, the well-known fast-food chain has created an ad hoc campaign that reminds Canadians to enjoy lunch with McDelivery.
It is not the first time that the American giant has created such a campaign, on such a hectic and very tiring day it is almost obvious to order take-away food.
For Cossette’s “Happy moving day” campaign for McDonald’s, the agency has created three different images. The images depict a moving truck with the owner’s objects inside, organized to show a different McDonald’s product.
The big Mac Picture depicts a family with children moving into a suburban house; The McMuffin shows a young couple moving into their first house; and the chips depict a young man leaving his parents’ house for the first time.
