The logos of the most famous brands if we were in the Middle Ages

For a brand to have an unforgettable logo is now of fundamental importance. Just think of Nike with its Swoosh, McDonald’s with its yellow and rounded M, or Lacoste with its crocodile. All these logos have one thing in common: they don’t have to be accompanied by the company name to recognize them, they are enough.
In recent years, the study of logos has become increasingly important, leading various companies to present new branding, more suited to contemporary aesthetics. There are those, however, who have decided to go completely against the tide, such as the artist and graphic designer Ilya Denisov aka Ilya Stallone

Ilya Stallone recently started a personal project called “Medieval Branding” in which he combined his work as a graphic designer with his passion for history. It all started with a question: what would today’s most iconic logos look like if we lived in the Middle Ages?

Each reimagining features an exaggerated 2D and the use of a gothic font instead of the more modern and minimal ones we’re used to. Below you can find some “Medieval Branding” logos, but to not miss the next ones follow Ilya Stallone on Instagram
