A short time ago we told you about TECLA, a 3D printed Earth to Earth dwelling, a prototype that has not yet been realized. In the Netherlands, on the other hand, they have just presented Milestone Project, the first 3D printed house in Europe, an innovative and sustainable project that promises revolutions in the field of construction.

The project is promoted by the Eindhoven University of Technology, the municipality and several studios that have collaborated together to realize Milestone Project. The house is located in the city of Eindhoven, more precisely in the Bosrijk district, in a place totally surrounded by greenery.

Overall, the house is 94 square meters large and is equipped with all amenities and obviously sustainable from the electrical point of view, its shape instead resembles that of a large megalith.

The house was obviously printed thanks to a very large mechanical arm that has slowly built overlapping layers of concrete, assembling it block by block.

An ambitious project but that does not want to stop here, over time these small houses could populate the neighborhood or the city with its sinuous and irregular lines. The goal of Milestone Project is to give life to an eco-friendly city, a revolution for a sustainable future.
