Moncler Genius unveils the new collection designed by JAY-Z in collaboration with Roc Nation. This exceptional partnership transcends the boundaries of fashion and extends into the realms of art, music, design, entertainment, and sports. The campaign introduces the Moncler x Roc Nation collection designed by Jay-Z as a set of modular elements, where various pieces can be combined to create different styles, akin to the way melodies and harmonies alternate in music. The color palette features white, khaki, and black, punctuated by details in a vibrant orange—a New York reinterpretation giving life to unique pieces, such as the dollar-green down jacket with crocodile print. Reversible items, on the other hand, serve as an invitation to freedom and creativity, with meticulously crafted details, including the new hand-embroidered logo inspired by the mountains. The amusing inscription “It’s not rocket science,” adorned with crystals on the back of the jacket, adds a touch of fun. Very much New York.
Genius is everywhere
JAY-Z’s intention on this occasion is to convey the same message as The Art of All—continuing to believe in the importance of inspiring people using one’s voice—telling a powerful story envisioned as a true cinematic manifesto. The soundtrack, derived from The Book of Clarence and produced by JAY-Z at the time, is accompanied by the narrative voice of the artist SAINt Jhn. The film, directed by Páraic and Kevin McGloughlin, illustrates the concept of Genius through a visual connection between mountain climbing and urban landscapes, showcasing breathtaking shots of New York captured by the American rapper from Roc Nation.

Roc Nation is a «full-service entertainment company, inclusive of artist and athlete management, label, publishing, touring, film/TV, and new ventures,» and this is not its first collaboration with Moncler. It all began in February 2023 during London Fashion Week with The Art of Genius event—a immersive experience aimed at transforming Moncler Genius’ fashion collaborations into a co-creation platform involving multiple creative spheres. At the time, The Art of All installation was a success, and today, we are here to narrate the second chapter of this collaboration.
