We are in Sicily, specifically in Piazza Armerina, Sicily’s mosaic capital thanks to its Villa Romana del Casale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Hence the name of the festival Mosaic, to pay homage to the cultural heritage of the place. Now in its second edition and after last year’s success, Mosaico Festival returns again this year from August 9 to 11 to enliven the city. “An artistic-cultural review that sees music as its main component, but explores the worlds of cinema, photography, land appreciation, cuisine, digital and much more, thanks to the right mix of artists and guests from the area and international,” reads the press release. In short, a very rich schedule that will take place mainly at the Aragonese Castle, ending with the live performance of Venerus at the Cathedral of Piazza Armerina. Besides Venerus also Ghemon, Yu Su, Wallce but also a talk by Naomi Accardi to talk about what it means to be creative in the South.
