Classics never die, especially when they find someone who knows how to breathe new life into them. That’s exactly what’s happening with the new collaboration between Napapijri and Martine Rose, where the archive becomes the starting point for a collection that looks to the past but lives in the present. The brand’s technical precision meets the subversive approach of the British designer, creating pieces that feel familiar yet arrive with a fresh energy.

The first drop, available from today, blends sportswear, varsity inspirations, and a graphic minimalism made of essential logos. The pieces include zip-up fleeces in soft curly wool, essence terry sweatshirts with striped details, polos crafted with the innovative sponge towel AOP technology, along with basic t-shirts, classic denim jeans, and premium cotton gabardine caps.

The campaign, shot by Alexandra Gordienko and styled by Tamara Rothstein, recalls the spirit of Napapijri’s archival imagery, with an aesthetic that feels suspended between memory and contemporaneity. This is just the first chapter: the following drops will arrive throughout 2025.

“We are really proud of the collections we created together. Whenever I wear those pieces I always get stopped, and even today people remember the images we produced: the energy between clothes, locations and casting was unique. This is the perfect chance for those who missed out the first time around,” says Martine Rose in the press release accompanying the launch.

Martine Rose for Napapijri AW25 will be released in three drops on martine-rose.com, napapijri.com and at selected global retailers. The first drop is already online.
