In March 1972 Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G., was born, a man destined to make rap history not only in America but in the world.

Every legend has an origin story.

Also known by the pseudonyms Biggie, Biggie Smalls or Big Poppa since his debut he has been one of the important figures of the East Coast hip hop scene.

At a time when the scene was dominated by West Coast rivals, his first album “Ready to Die” succeeded in the cumbersome task of attracting all the attention to himself as if nothing had happened.
From that moment on, The Notorious B.I.G. became a heavyweight, a colossus of rap in the world.

To celebrate his career but also to tell his story Netflix has announced “Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell,” the new documentary about The Notorious B.I.G.’s life.

Out on March 1, the documentary was produced by Voletta Wallace, the rapper’s mother along with many other prominent names, here is the trailer.
