Nil Safont began at the age of 12 – instinctively – to immerse himself in the universe of urban art and painting. His name has been present, both nationally and internationally, in the sector’s panorama since 2017. He is also a co-founder and member of @malpais.malpais, a so-called polyhedral OFF SPACE focused on artistic production with a prominent exhibition space and annual programming in Barcelona.

A muralist and painter, primarily interested in urban art and interventions in public space, his works are large-format paintings that use the walls of the streets as canvases. The themes he addresses are closely linked to the different everyday life he discovers in each social context where he operates, and he is interested in a visual language that can raise awareness. In addition to creating murals and participating in various international muralism projects, his work has involved him in other artistic circuits such as exhibitions, both with art galleries and more alternative exhibition spaces.
